Street food/Home kitchens with social media marketing

Something I love about LA is how easy it is to sample delicious, flavor-packed food from a variety of different cultures — yes, always from taco trucks & Mexican fruit stands, but also from home kitchens (now legal in LA!), where you can pick up Swiss pastries from someone’s apartment or — as I did this afternoon — super fresh Hawaiian tuna poke from a parking lot!

Kelsey at Dover Sole Market posts drops on Thursdays for the upcoming weekend on IG Stories and you DM to request — she’s been regularly selling out in minutes and for good reason! The poke is so fresh and delicious! We got 1/2 lbs of shoyu and spicy tuna this time, can’t wait to try more next time!

I think things like this are blossoming on social networks; it’s worth investigating if there are any food vendors selling direct to customers where you are.
