Admire your muscles in the mirror

Even if they’re tiny. You made that, they’re yours to be proud of!

Yeah, if you told people you took five minutes after a workout or shower to admire your growing muscle tone in the mirror, that would maybe seem egotistical or weird — but I’m not saying to broadcast that you do this (like I may just have)!

Just do it to congratulate yourself and acknowledge your hard work paying off. Sometimes, wanting to honor that new muscle tone is enough motivation to get back at it next time, even though exercise is hard (so hard!). And hey, maybe it’ll be less hard next time since you’ve got these new muscles and all! (Probably not though.)
