Table Manners

I love a deep-dive personal interview. And while I’m not a big podcast listener in general, I’ve learned that a celebrity interview is actually my exact preferred niche.

Like many, many people, I adore Amy Poehler’s Good Hang. So if that’s your thing too, you will likely love Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware.

They actually have overlapped guests with Good Hang, but Table Manners’ schtick is that Jessie (a millennial British pop star) and her mother Lennie (A DELIGHT) make delicious food for their guest and have them over for a meal. Then they ask them questions about their background and work, but also their history with food and family.

It’s often both relaxed and revealing, and I often come away from an episode feeling like I’ve had a deep friend session with someone whom I previously only knew through their work.
